Hello, everyone, this is Mr. Inui.
I'm the host of Talkie Meeting on September 15th, next week.
At the past, September 15th was a national holiday "Respect-for-the-Aged Day".
But "Coming-of-Age Day" (1/15), "Marine Day" (7/20), "Respect-for-the-Aged Day" (9/15) and "Sports day" (10/10) have moved to Monday from 2003 by Happy Monday System.
This year, September 19th will be "Respect-for-the-Aged Day" as national holiday.
Now, how old are those who are congratulated on "Respect-for-the-Aged Day"?
Which person are you?
Person who celebrates?
Or person who is congratulated?
What do/did you do on "Respect-for-the-Aged Day"?
The next topic is "Respect-for-the-Aged Day".
Please talk everything about "Respect-for-the-Aged Day".
I look forward to see you next week.
This is Chiyoko, I'll be host on Thursday this week.
The topic is ”subtle feeling”
A few weeks ago, I happened to see a little damaged and strange leaves on the branch of a plum tree.
When I took them out of the branch to see, the subtle feeling visited me suddenly, bringing an aura of peace, which was difficult to express in words.
Ｈave you had such experience recently?

How are you, Talkie members.
This is Mieko, the next host on September 1st.
Enjoyable summer vacation is almost over.
I suppose most students are busy to finish their homework.
But some of them who organize well have done all the assignments already and enjoy the last weekend freely.
My topic is "Summer vacation homework".
How did you work on your homework?
Were you a well organized child?
did you rely on someone to finish your homework? etc.
Let's share your interesting or serious memories about homework.
Talk to you soon!
This is Sungjoo, host of the next Talkie Meeting on Aug. 18th.
Obon, a representative day of Japanese traditions, is coming with the moon full.
Actually Korea, my country, has the similar tradition to yours.
People think there that the moon on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month is the brightest one in the year.
So they stay up late and enjoy the time with their family or relatives under its cool light…
BTW, do you have interesting or fun memories with any ‘Round One(s)’ such as the full moon, rice cakes, coins, or the like?
Please choose one of them.
And this is my topic: What Does the Round Thing you’ve chosen Remind You Of?
Looking forward to your kind stories,
Have a happy Obon!
Hi members,this is Ken
I want to inform you this week topic for Talkie English.
It is "know-how".
I am learning Buddhist statue carving as hobby now.
Recently the Teacher was changed and he teaches us the new know-how to improve the curving.
These approaches are very fresh and effective.
So I feel I break the wall and rise up the one step to reach higher level.
Did you learn something about sports, cooking or playing the music instruments etc?
And do you have some know-how to become a good player?
Please talk about your experience about know-how.
This is Mr. Inui who will be a host of Talkie on August 4th.
Finally, the rainy season has also ended Kanto area.
"When summer comes, it reminds you."
Long summer holidays, radio exercises, fireworks, campfire, the game of split-the-watermelon, sea bathing, the Bon-festival dance, test of courage, and Ghost Stories etc..
What is your happiest summer memory?
Shall we talk about such summer memory?
See you later, alligator.
After a while, crocodile.
